Leaderboards and Milestones

The hundredth class is a moment. Worth marking.

People who come often want that seen. A milestone marks a number of classes, a run of weeks, or a year at the studio, and it reaches the member when she gets there. A leaderboard is the group version of the same idea, and you can run one for a month or for a challenge.

What It Does

  1. Personal Milestones

The tenth class, the fiftieth, the hundredth. She hears about it when she gets there.

  2. Streaks

How many weeks in a row, which is usually the number that actually keeps people.

  3. A Board for a Period

A month, or a challenge with a start and an end.

  4. She Chooses to Appear

Being on the board is her decision, not the default.

  5. A Real Prize

The top of it can earn a pass to bring somebody, not only a place on a list.

How It Works

  1. Define the milestones

Which numbers are worth marking at your studio.

  2. Open a board

For a period, or for a challenge with dates.

  3. It fills itself

From attendance already recorded, with nothing to enter.

  4. Mark it

An automatic message the moment somebody gets there.

Common Questions

Does a member have to appear on the board?

No. Taking part is her choice, and that is deliberate: a board that forces people onto it drives away exactly the people it is meant to encourage.

Can I run a challenge for one month?

Yes. A board with a start and an end date closes itself when the period is over.

What counts towards a board?

Attendance that was recorded, not bookings. Somebody who booked and did not come does not score for it.
