Accessibility statement

WitzLyne Ltd operates Makom: the getmakom.com site, the branded studio pages on getmakom.com addresses, the studio management console and the member apps. We want every member and every member of studio staff to be able to book a class, pay, sign in and run a studio with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, or any other assistive technology.

What we have done

• Every page declares its language and text direction, so Hebrew reads right to left and English and French left to right.
• Controls can be reached with a keyboard and show a visible focus indicator, and the public pages open with a “skip to content” link.
• Buttons, fields and icon buttons carry an accessible name, and form fields are tied to their labels.
• Dialogs, such as booking a class and signing in, keep focus inside while open, close with Escape, and return focus when they close.
• Text is checked against the standard's contrast ratios.
• An automated accessibility check runs on every code change, on every screen our acceptance tests visit, and a change that adds a new accessibility problem is blocked.

What is not yet fully accessible

Despite our efforts, some parts may not yet be fully accessible. These are the ones we know about:

• The secure payment page opens at the payment provider, not on our site, so its accessibility is the provider's responsibility. If it gives you trouble, write to us and we will help you complete the payment.
• Each studio uploads its own photos, class descriptions and brand colours. We ask for alternative text and check contrast, but content a studio writes is the studio's responsibility.

Physical accessibility at a studio

Each studio is an independent business, and the accessibility of its building, its parking and its classes is its own responsibility. The location details on a studio's page say whether its entrance is step free. For questions about getting there or adjustments in class, contact the studio directly.
